Poverty
Half the world - nearly 3 billion people - live on less than two dollars a day.
The poorest 40% of the worlds population accounts for 5 percent of global income. The richest 20% accounts for three-quarters of world income.
According to UNICEF, 26,500 to 30,000 children die each day due to poverty.
Around 27 to 28 percent of all children in developing countries are estimated to be underweight or stunted.
Obesity
58 Million Americans are Overweight; 40 Million Obese; 3 Million morbidly Obese
Eight out of 10 Americans over 25's are Overweight
78% of American's not meeting basic activity level recommendations, 25% completely Sedentary
There has been a 76% increase in Type II diabetes in adults 30-40 yrs old since 1990
